Lightbulb Promotion while GC is pending

    Gurus -

First of all, if this is a wrong forum for this question, please move to appropriate one.

    Currently I am in EB2-I with 140 approved and awaitinggggg...PD Nov 2010

I work as a Senior System Analyst and my management is considering me to promote to Technical lead. The real job duties will be pretty much same with little added responsibilities.

Question: Will this affect my GC when it is time for that ( when will be that DAY?) . Do I have to redo any of the processing ( I hate that!)

    Thank you for your responses

Not at all. Go for the promotion. Many congratulations.

This has been discussed many times on this forum that promotion in the same line of work during GC processing is ok. So all the best to all those that are going to get one. Don't hold back your careers because of GC.
I no longer provide calculations/predictions ever since whereismyGC.com was created.
I do run this site only as an administrator. Our goal is to improve clarity of GC process to help people plan their lives better.
Use the info at your risk. None of this is legal advice.
