    Kanmani,
Will keep you posted. On EAD I would agree with imdeng on the 40 day mark for TSC. Most people I know who applied prior to us got it in about 5 week time frame. Also the recent trend on trackitt seems to be right around that ballpark and there are outliers which are less than 30 days too.

Imdeng, I think 40 days is too early. 50-60 is good .

For Q2 - No, spouse using his/her EAD has no effect on the primary's status. Primary can continue on H1B status if he/she wishes.

    2. if spouse starts using EAD (earlier H4B) do we need to report to primary's employer

Kumar, regarding Q1, decision after responding to RFE can take anything from a few days to a few weeks. From a look at recent trackitt cases that had RFE and were approved, approval time was generally less than 2 weeks, but some waited for over 2 weeks, even a month. So, it's a wide range.

I saw that too Sun. The approval is actually for the same RD as mine. A matter of luck I guess. The good thing is that EAD/APs are getting approved, even if slowly. TSC, OTOH, is flying through.

Question for folks with FP at Elizabeth

What is the "real" address of this place ? My guess is it is 285 N Broad St, Elizabeth, NJ and not Elizabeth City, right ?

Any tips from people who have been here ?

  16. #3191
1.It took roughly 18 days for me. I have seen the spread to be between 3 & 30 days.

    2. No, each application is different. You don't have to update your employer about secondary ever. Even on primary, you must update your employer only if you had signed a paper with them that you will not work any where else but for the employer. if not, you don't need to update even for primary applicant's second job.

It's 285 N Broad St, Elizabeth (in same building as unemployment insurance department). Your notice will have 285 N broad street. Some people go to USCIS site and they don't have right address there. do check your receipt.
