usually as soon as they receive it.My attorney filed the response on 15th, it changed the status on 16th. Of course stayed there, ever since.

The birth certificate thing is done, lawyer still working on EVL they will take their own sweet time.

ahhhh...that's the most painful part. When people whom we trust can't feel our pain. We know CIS has millions of cases and can't have that personal touch or human element in the way they do business. But, our own attorneys who get paid by us ( directly/indirectly), sitting on the cases is unacceptable.

It took almost 22 days for my attorney to file my 485 case in October.

This is so true, I simply fail to understand why it should take so long at times.

I almost called my attorney every 2 hrs to drive her to file my RFE. I am paying for it and service is very bad.
