Congrats to all 2009'ers..

Im Feb 25 2010.. Never imagined the day I ask this question will ever come..

Any possibility of me being current in the next bulletin ?

I need another 6 months advance to currrent.. till yesterday.. I had no hope of being current in 2012.. but this bulletin and CO comments giving me some hope.. in next bulletin, if they advance 6 months that would be gr8, we saw last 2 bulletins, one with 9.5 months and 12 months advancement... Any thing can happen with USCIS, just hoping for the best.. If I miss this time, I will take longtime for them to adance the dates as they will have enough applications..

I had given up hope of seeing the VB today .. just before going home I checked this forum and lo and behold .. saw this post ... checked the VB and sure enough .. am current .. cannot express how happy I am ..

One way to let the dates advance further is , if the guys who were current in Dec/Jan Visa bulletin do not file until the March bulletin comes out. Since Any one who is current upto Jan bulletin have time till Feb 28th to file, it should be ok to file after feb 10th or so by which time March bulletin would be out. What do think Guru's !!!

I am current too.
Can someone remember the thread number of a post related to someone getting married after filing 485. I will be in the same boat.
I am current and i will be sending my application on Feb1. But I am getting married in last week of Feb in India. What are my options for my wife's 485 when she comes here with me in March? I am assuming as long as the dates are not retrogressed, i will be able to send her 485 as dependent in march. And if they do retrogress, i will have to send her 485 whenever the dates become current in 2-3 years? I will talk to my lawyer too on Monday.

I hope dates do not retrogress, because, even though I am current today, my company has restarted my gc process since my previous perm and I 140 was filed for a specific job location and I moved out from there. So I can't file for my 485 until may be 6 months. But I am really happy for all you guys out there. God bless you and fulfill all your dreams.

Hi Billikoot, you just need to apply for H4 COS for your spouse and can file with the receipt notice itself. You don't need to wait till you receive the COS approved.
