@tackle that is very good progress.

@gchopeful the LUD is probably a good indicator that FP notice is on its way.

What do you mean by "soft LUD". I've registered my notices on USCIS case status system. I've not seen any changes to the "Last Updated" dates. But I got my FP notice today. So, I'm curious.

Refer to my post at the beginning of the thread . Looks like FP notice generation does not cause any LUD's. Great going.

    Good news tackle.

So I should get my FP notices in next 6 days. I got receipts about 6 days after yours.

Man this wait after filing 485 sucks more There's absolutely no information that you can get about your application from any where in the world

  8. #108
Great. Do some research on the service center that they want you to go for Finger prints. Check if they'd allow a earl walk-in. I haven't seen this early walk-in prove any beneficial in terms of total process time. It'll at least be one thing off your plate.

Do you guys know what is the avg no. of days to receive the receipt notice. My attorney told me that he filed my I485 apps on Nov 1st (that's the date when he is expecting USCIS to receive the docs). My attorney and I haven't received them as of today. Attorney is based in New York and I am in Chicago.

5-10 business days for Receipts. Not sure why, but I have always seen them come on Monday/Tuesday.

I got the receipts from my attorney today and he told me that he didn't get my wife's I485 receipt in today's mail.
Received date of 11/01 with notice date of 11/10 for all apps.
Not sure whether you guys realized, all receipts for 485, EAD and AP are in consecutive numbers like 25,26,27. So, I am assuming that my wife's I485 receipt is on its way and there is nothing to worry about right now.

  13. #113
yup. mine were consecutive as well. Good luck!

I have exactly the same case as you. In my case my I485 receipt was missing. I called up USCIS to confirm yes its the number in between & also requested for a duplicate copy, attorney thus far has not received anything. Surprisng that your RD is 01-NOV but ND is 11/10, most people with 11/01 RD have a recent ND.

    @gchopeful123 & @Stemcell

I was given a fixed date (see signature) and time for biometrics appointment. One thing I'd like to mention is that my appointment time and wife's appointment time are couple of hours apart. But lawyers mentioned that its ok. They allow family members to get fingerprinted at the same time.

Leo did you have any LUD's post FP completion and anything after that. If yes then it means they are working on your cases.

Sogaddu bhai, I called USCIS for the missing receipt they confirmed the number and will be sending the info again. Officer was very nice. Everyone will get a date for FP based on the load of the nearest center. Everyone gets 1 date but heard some centers are flexible about walk in.

Which Center in NJ. Check the trackitt threads, I have read some people in NJ go early.

On a lighter note: usually service center folks are not too enthusiastic about people running or jumping or crawling or driving their way into offices. They prefer if people walk in for an appointment
