Visitor Visa Letters

Hello All,

I am planning on inviting my parents to visit us and grandmother (mother's mother) is going to visit me along with them.

Now, do I need to send two different letters both my parents and grandmother or is just enough to send one letter mentioning all three in the letter.

Please shed some light on this.

If they will go to the Visa Interview together then one letter is sufficient.

Thanks imdeg...Yes they are going together but some of the websites say we can use the same letter only if they are husband wife and their kids (father mother and siblings) and no one ever mentioned about grand parents.

Also, my grandmother (mother's mother) is a 72 yr lady and she is in decent health. She has been living with us for ever. She has two sons both live in different places but both earn / work.
Do you see any potential issues why her visa could be rejected. Should I be careful with her documentation in particular? Any tips from knowledgable and some with similar experiences are appreciated.

You can of course right another letter just for the grandmother and keep it in reserve, just in case. Assuming you are all in clear with your documentation, your parents and grandparent should not have any issues, especially since there are going together. It is unlikely that they will give visitor visa to some in the party and not other - and your parents case is clear cut - so would say your grandmother's is as well.

I am only passing secondary information BTW. I only have experience of visitor visa for parents and not grandparent.

If it's not too late, One letter that includes all their names and your ability to support them here will be sufficient.

You have to send an other different letter for you grandmother.Your parents are more close relatives and the law permit it easily.But in case of your grandmother the case surly will be different.

My father in law has a multiple entry 10 year visitor visa. He is planning to come to visit us this summer and leave by Aug end. His passport expires mid oct. Does anyone have a idea will this be a problem for his entry?
