    Lightbulb Employer Related Discussion

I was told by the company's HR team that I am eligible for a bonus this year. I have decided to go with our company's immigration attorney for the I-485 filing. When I called the attorney for the payment of USCIS and the attorney fees, he said that the company would take care of it.
When I contacted HR they said part of the bonus would be paid towards the I-485 + attorney fees (around $6.5 k, for me and my wife) and the rest would be paid later in December.
Should I go ahead with this plan? I don't see anything wrong..Is there something I should be aware of?

6.5K sounds too much to me. Most people pay in attorney fees is $2000 (for two person) for I-485 + $1070 + $ 1070 = $4140.

Does the $1070 include the EAD+AP fees?
