Different Service Centers for Spouse's application

    Hello Gurus,

My PD is Jul 2011, and applied for EAD/GC in Oct'2020. My application went to Nebraska service Center, and the applications of my Spouse and dependent went to MSC - National Benefits Service Center. However, my spouse's application was rejected due to some missing pages in the application. Our attorney's resent her application in April'2021, and recently her biometrics got scheduled for next week. In the meantime the Biometrics for my dependent and I were completed in May. My dependents application has now been transferred to Nebraska Service Center. Recently my I-140 got approved through premium processing. Can someone suggest if having applications in different service centers causes any issues/delays? Do, I need to wait for my spouse's application to be transferred to Nebraska before we can send the medicals for all of us?

    Thanks in Advance

They may have done it purely to distribute load. But honestly it's a mistake on their part because then they would be (potentially) requesting documents of primary to another location to approve beneficiary. They haven't yet discovered internet imho.

Nothing to do other than sit and wait. Lets see what others think. Mike is just an opinion without empirical evidence!

Sorry to hear this. Did you receive any RFE or you are planning for interfiling ? IMO You should wait for any RFE before submitting medicals. you might receive separate RFE for yourself and your dependent.

Yeah you should simply wait for medical RFE and not try to interfile to avoid confusion as andhraguy suggested.

Thank you for your response, I have not yet received the RFE for medicals.
I guess I will have to just wait for them to process my spouse's application and send to my service center

I was planning for interfiling, not sure if I do this, I should send the medicals to different centers one for my child and I, and another one for my spouse.

Today we received the approval notice I-765 & I-131 for my child, and received it from MSC.
