I have heard that sometimes online case status is not updated nor are the text alerts sent out when an RFE is issued. So, you cannot rely on these updates.Originally Posted by Zenzone

Congrats Dragonfly! You had mentioned that you raised an expedite request.. Did USCIS ask for any documents to process expedite request? If so, what was asked and what did you submit?

No, strangely they did not ask me for any documents. I guess they may have seen on my profile that my H1 is ending and renewal is pending - actually got an RFE on that today which is weird because I have been working at the same place for 13 damn years!

My Case got updated! Got RFE for medicals, 485j for myself and medicals for my wife and daughter. TSC PD 03/18/2010 RD 03/05/2012
How do you know what the RFE is for? Did you get the physical copy already?
My PD is 02/13/2010 no update till now
I got soft copy from congressional office and forwarded that to attorney. Congressional office wanted copy of my response so that they can work with officer directly.
AceMan you mentioned your case got updated and you had an RFE. Can you shed some light on what the RFE was about?
@Vedu: What is your I-485 "received date". I am curious if TSC is going with the order of the received dates for all those that are current.

Sure, will update as soon as I get the copy. I posted yesterday, hot of the case status website as soon as I saw it.
I had submitted Medicals, 485J, all the things I can think off.

WOW I'm Excited finally TSC is touching march cases. My PD is 30th March 2010 EB2 TSC, no update so far.
Did you raise a request with the congressmen's office?
If only affidavit was sent in place of BC, it could be birth certificate related as it happened in my case.
I don't want to be debbie downer but TSC is following no order to process cases - neither priority date nor receipt date.

Who is the congressman? That's pretty good service.
Mine is Feb 14, 2010 priority date, with a RD of March 9, 2012. No news so far. I raised an inquiry with my local congressman last week. So far no response from USCIS.
I have provided a copy of my original BC(without my name just parents name) and a notarized affidavit from my mom which indicates my name I made in 2010 when I was filing. My wife also had her original bc with name. She also got an RFE.
Marriage certificate also I provided the copy of original I got .

nothing to worry about; there will always be outliers depending on various factors but overall it's a good sign that March apps are being touched.
hopefully in two weeks things will be more streamlined. Two weeks ago there was no news of feb/march apps being touched.

That's not true. I have seen cases with April filing date and March PD getting RFE back in December and January. There is no consistency.

I read somewhere in trackitt that TSC is bogged down by the downgrades and hence are not focussing on the original 2012 filings. It is also correct that there is no consistency in how they are processing. It almost seems like a stroke of luck.
