Health Insurance for Parents in India

    Hello Friends,

Does anyone know of Indian health insurance coverage for senior citizens located in India (above age of 65)? I have tried the websites of Tata AIG, ICICI Lombard, etc but they seem to restrict coverage at 65 years.

    Any inputs/experiences would be helpful...thanks!

    Hey,

With my personal experience I will recommend you to go with Max Bupa health insurance. There is no age restriction in the health plans offered by them. This will help you get your parents insured. Currently, I have insured myself with one of their health plan named Heartbeat Family First which covers up to 13 relationships in the family i.e. you, your spouse, kids, parents, in-laws, etc. I am sure this will solve your concern.

Why don't you go on website of ICICI,HDFC or Max Newark or India Infoline ? India Infoline is a broking company over there where you can get information about all insurance related things and policies.

You can have a look at the special plan for senior citizen from Apollo Munich called "Optima Senior" at AMHI website.

    Thanks.
