Over 200,000 H-1B workers could lose legal status by June

Almost all newspapers have this headline without any details - why June, why 200k?

It's pure conjecture. The assumption is if 26.5M people lost the jobs mean, there could be at least 200K H-1Bs lost their jobs too. If you lost your job in April,2020 you will have 60 days to land another job without risking your status. So, come June there's a possibility that most of the H-1Bs won't get hired and they will lose legal status.
