    Thanks Spec.
I wonder if the spike in the 3rd quarter of PERM has little (not everything) to do with WITCH filing under EB2 (and may be EB3). It appears that since August 2017, they have almost stopped going after EB1C (if there are, they are very few in compare to 2012-17).
So beginning of Q1 they started applying for Eb2 and now we are seeing those applications being processed during Q3. (considering 2-3 quarters processing time).
So once they Eb1 (Specially C) May 2017 (pre interview announcement) and before cases are processed, there is a possibility Eb1 will be current and there is a chance of spillover from EB1 to EB2 by the end of 2019. It all depends on how many EB1 cases are left upto May 2017. (Probably a lot).
Another interesting fact is that even though WITCH has started going after Eb2; for last 3 quarters, MAGIF (Micro., Amaz., Goog., Intel, FB) are the top 5 in getting PERM certifications (after a long time).

Actually, there's been remarkably few WITCH PERM approvals so far in FY2018.

    Wipro - 0 total
    Infosys - 490 total (482 in Q3)
    TCS - 223 total (39 in Q3)
    Cognizant - 7 total (0 in Q3)
    HCL - 513 total (305 in Q3)

Cognizant is the really low number comparatively.

That compares to around 6k for WITCH for all of FY2017.

Wow, that is a low number. Not even 1000 in Q3 by all 5 of them.
who do these 18,000+ (Q3) Indians got certified work for?
The overall number for certification has been big for Q3 in compare to other two quarters. But number for Indians have seen bigger jump for some reason (as per EB-I to Row comparison - (Q 1- 7.1k to 5.1, Q2 - 10.1k to 7.3k, Q3 - 19.6k to 11.2k)

Does anyone have the numbers for Q1 and Q2 2019?
    How did Cognizant fare?
