As observed in the Unofficial figures post, while these figures are much lower than FY2016, in the context of historical figures they remain among the highest for a FY.
OFLC received 105,034 PERM cases in FY2017 and processed 97,603 cases.
The backlog of PERM cases was 38,819. This was an increase of 7,878 (25.5%) compared to the end of FY2016.
