Lightbulb Did Trump Just Ban Advanced Parole?

    (d) The Secretary shall take appropriate action to ensure that parole authority under section 212(d)(5) of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1182(d)(5)) is exercised only on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the plain language of the statute, and in all circumstances only when an individual demonstrates urgent humanitarian reasons or a significant public benefit derived from such parole.

Even thou I don't agree with Trump halting all refugees visa but I get taxed without representation i.e I can't do anything about it. There are real world consequences with such action thou which I would like to understand better. I know FB visa gets spillover to EB.

Does Refugee visa comes out of FB quota??
If yes, does that mean down the road 4 month worth of visa will be spillover to back log countries?
If No, is refugee visa a standalone and Prez can decide how many refugee US will accept in given yr? ala Mr O saying 110K but Prez DJT saying just 50k but that too after we come up with proper procedure.

pardon my ignorance on this matter, I am not able to find answer to these questions on the net.

I think it's for DACA not all APs.

Review of all Visa categories including EADs.

Below article states H4 EAD is being considered as well.. but i did not find any language directly stating H4 EAD. I did see generic statements like review all visa categories. If you are able to find any order that talks about H4 EAD, pleaes point that to me.

Yup, I believe that's the case as well, but let's see how the executive order is interpreted by DHS. I'm sure there will be some confusion.

AP's (Formm I-131) will not be approved for DACA anymore. The exiting ones can stay valid till they expire.
