H1 extension based on approved I-140 with previous employer

My first post here. Appreciate the analysis and vast knowledge folks share here along with Q,Spec,Sports, kanmani.

Please feel free to move to appropriate forum if you feel that this doesn't belong here also don't know if this has already been answered before.

    My situation...

Have an approved I-140 from company A (PD 04/2008 EB3), as you can see I haven't filed 485 yet...got one 3 year extension beyond 6 years here.
Joined company B and got 3 year extension based on company A I-140
Left company B to join company C and got 3 year extension based on company A I-140

Now ..Can I get another 3 year extension with company C, even if the company C hasn't started my GC process yet.

I figured it's a waste of money to start the GC when I am not sure if I am going to stick around with a company for 10 years which is how long it might take for my EB3 PD to become current.
