Time taken for Dropbox visa stamping

I am planning to get my H1 stamped through dropbox option at the Mumbai consulate in Feb. I qualify as I have the same visa from the same company. I would like to know how many days does it take to get back the passport? Anybody who has tried this at Mumbai consulate, if you could share your experience, that would be great. I will be in India for a very short urgent trip and have to return back as soon as possible. Is 1 week a reasonable time to finish this stamping and get back the passport or am I being overly optimistic? Should I go for in-person interview as I have done in past since I always get my passport same or next day? Any insights on this would be helpful.

I did this this month in Mumbai. Its a quick process. Dropped the documents on Monday and collected the passport on Thursday same week. Anyone can drop the documents in VFS office. So it doesnt require self to visit the VFS. Similarly, if you give an authorization letter for passport collection, someone else can also collect it on your behalf. Once the passport is stamped, you will receive an email or sms on your mobile or can also check the status online.
Just an FYI..the drop box office is not the consulate, its at a different location. Hoping this info helps
