Lots of street side parking available within two blocks.
Get some quarters to feel the meters, one quarter per 15 mins.

FP in another ASC location other than scheduled

Hi - anybody has the experience that we can bring the FP notice to another ASC location for FP since we are moving to anther state just a few days before our scheduled FP date (tried to walk-in today but got rejected)? Thanks.

Many people on this forum have, including me. In my case, my wife and I had different ASCs. I went with my wife to her ASC and they permitted me to get mine done. Others have done it elsewhere because they were traveling (consultants that did it at the client location ASC, or people on vacation). However, just as you got turned away from an early walk-in, you can be turned away from the other ASC too. I would recommend that you try to do your FP at the other ASC location and if it fails, ask your lawyer to send in a notice to change your address (you'd need to do that in any case, just do it before the FP date if you can't do a walk-in to the other ASC).

Thank you for the information.... Will there be any problem say if I get rejected in the other ASC location on the scheduled date? My concern is that there's only 3-4 days interval between my move date and the scheduled FP date, it is not possible for me to reschedule the appointment without changing the address?

My recommendation was that you walk in to the other ASC prior to your appointment, not on the appointment date. Since it is a different ASC, your scheduled date and time mean nothing to them. By going in earlier, if they do turn you back, you have enough time to send a notice requesting them to reschedule the appointment. The instructions for rescheduling are on the FP notice. Btw, rescheduling will only change the date, not the location. I think the change of address is what will trigger an ASC change.

Thanks. I think we will change address a day before the move and try an earlier walk-in a day after our arrival on the new home. And if we are not lucky to get rejected again - there are about 2 and half days for us to do the RE-scheduling...

Kanmani Congratulations to you and your family on the EAD / AP approvals. Your 485 receipts will get recognized when there is a new event. Most people have seen only 2 events after initial review that you missed its either RFE or Approved.

    Teddy , Thank you .
During FP session , I enquired the immi-officer regarding Receipt Date is printed as Priority date in the dependent's notice. He didn't understand initially, then I showed my receipt notice. He said primary's PD is copied to dependents while generating A# for the dependents. Under SRC XXXXXXX , they have all data in their system.

So I think the inventory should include dependents too. But I am not damn sure.
