Hmm... I am wondering about the report of somebody getting an RFE because of the date of flu vaccine not being there. My Civil Surgeon told me that Flu is optional for my age range and signed my form without it - ended up just having Varicella, MMR and TDAP. I would hate for it to lead to an RFE. What do you guys think - will it?

Sogaddu bhai just now got the USPS Pick up SMS for my wife's EAD, earlier one was for me, I once again thought for a moment that something on the 485. Lets pray for the 485 receipts just like Adnan Sami said "Thodi si to lift karaade". 485 receipt saying to EAD one aise waiso ko diya hai thodi si to mujhe bhi lift karade. Yes, I got my EAD/AP card back on Jan 20th. Feb 8th afternoon, I got email from USCIS about USPS picking up our EAD cards. And today Feb9th morning, I received my 485 approval email.

A. For purposes of the immigration medical examination, the flu season starts on October 1 and ends on March 31 each year. If your immigration medical examination is during this period, you are required to have the seasonal flu vaccine. If you have an immigration medical examination completed between April 1 and September 30, when it is not the flu season for immigration purposes, you are not required to document that you have received the seasonal flu vaccine.

7. EAD Issuance. What is TSC’s policy on EAD issuance when there is a background/security check on the underlying petition or application? Please confirm that corollary applications, such as I-765s and I-131s, are not held for background/security checks to clear.
When an EAD is filed concurrently with an I-485, we attempt to complete the normal security checks prior to adjudicating the EAD and advance parole. If the name check is still pending after 60 to 75 days, we will pull the file and adjudicate the EAD and advance parole even though the background check is not yet complete. However, if there is a problem with a background check that indicates a more serious security concern, the adjudication is placed on hold until that security concern can be resolved.
I am not a lawyer, and it's always best to consult an immigration attorney.

1. Is this standard? Does this mean that I get the EAD only after Finger Printing?
2. My husband travels all the time. He will not be at home town during the appt date. We tried walk-in this morning and the officer said my husband can go to the Denver location(travel location) on the scheduled appt date. But how? He does not have an appt at the Denver ASC? Question is : Is it okay if my husband goes on a different day than mine in a different ASC? Or will this cause issues?

Someone posted that they got an RFE for flu shot. I don't even remember that the civil surgeon I went to even asked me about a flu shot. I would have thought he knew what he was doing.
How many of other fellow forum members got flu shots. More importantly some of the members who got recent 485 approvals did they get a flu shot? just curious.
