I just thought I will let you know guys about how I feel about trackitt right this moment..
Well..I thought I will do a service by entering my information into it..This is my initial impression anyway not knowing how the site really gets used by people..
It screwed me up after I had entered all the information to create a account...
guess what..I will never again try to access the site..Hopefully I dont have to..
Just awful..

NSC is just amazingly fast..it's strange that getting PD current is one big leap and then getting it to a better service center is another leap by itself....now there are many cases hanging where primary and dependents have gone to different service centers ....very happy for all NSC filers but all fairness to TSC filers if they begin cranking up the wheel.
BTW is this muthu guy 485 approval
NSC Rocks !!! December Filers started getting approvals. PD from Jan 2008 started getting approvals..

WOV!! NSC bhagwan, tussi great ho. account has opened.
2 months.
This is great news shared, thanks. It means Dec filers are also officially opened.
And this also throws away any fear by that one guy with PD of March 2008 I posted about who got a 2 year EAD card, it's just some fat finger or random thing with him.

If true, it is indeed great news.. But i don't see the applicant's (Muthukaruppan) name in the Dec. 2011 tracker on trackitt.. Also, i don't see the 01/13/2008 PD..
Can some1 please confirm it it is true??
If I sort the data based on PD.. here is what i see from the tracker...

A basic question. Does that mean that the visa numbers can get exhausted with someone left hanging for 485 approval with a priority date (say 11/9/2007) at TSC compared to later priority date (say 2/20/2008) at NSC? If so, isnt it unfair that the service center is f***ed up and you say end up holding the short end of the stick?
I guess the fundamental question is how does visa number get allocated between centers or does it?
Each SC, Orders all Clean Apps by PD, asks for Visa and approves it. So they don't check if the App they are approving is later than the one in other SC.
Yes, The scary situation u described is a reality we need to live with. But happy for those people who are getting approved.
This is my first post in this forum. I follow Q and Teddy for the past 2 years(started with the other site ), whenever time permits. Thank you Q and Teddy and all the New Guru's in this site.
I am seeing the trend that NSC is faster when it comes to 485 approvals, but TSC beats them for the FP notices. I haven't got my FP notice yet. Did any of the Jan NSC Filers got their FP Notice already?
I hope he is not confusing his EAD with GC.

Thanks guys, for your kind compliments. I cannot believe it myself....
I did not apply for EAD or AP.
My FP date was Jan 3, 2012.
Good luck, guys!
If TSC does not come up to the speed, we might very well see Jan or even Feb NSC filers beginning to see approvals while Nov/Dec filers at TSC are awaiting for the VO to dust off the file....yes exhausting visas for the fiscal is a sad prospect....Let's hope they catch up.
Nishant, why is that? i mean do they not stamp passports even if people dont have US passports? Good that you brought it up(of course not that i have a GC) i m used to keeping them for H1 extension filing ...and i have filed many times...and thought i will get out of it.
Service Center: NSC || PD: 3/13/08 || RD: 12/21/11 || ND: 12/23/11 (RIH: 1/4/12) || FP: 2/16(Notice 1/20) || EAD/AP: 02/08 || I-485: CPO email 3/9 GC in hand 3/15/12(check PD)
Refer to FAQs on Post AOS/485 Filing here at post#1
If you have GC, you will still have Indian passport. Regardless of which passport, now would you want to trace your travel history by looking at stamps in your passport, which many times are illegible, passports may be lost, renewed...., or better still, just keep a separate log of all trips, date you left USA, date you entered USA.
And this is needed only for last 5 years when you file for citizenship, so it will not include your trips during your H1 etc, it will be only after GC, since you can only apply for citizenship min 5 years after GC, if GC is for EB based petition.
Trips shorter than 24 hours need not be itemized, but total count is to be given.

He explains low hanging fruit meaning they will begin approving straight forward cases irrespective of PD dates . Which means someone whose PD is 2010 can get approved before someone with PD 2008 who has had multiple visas etc etc ... again this is just info I thought I would share ....please take it with a pinch of salt :-)

Here is an update from our attorney friend.
"With respect to EB2 there is nothing more that our law firm knows at this time than that was posted by AILA based on last meeting with DOS Visa Control Office Chief. This is my own conclusion that dates will move atleast 6 months. Infact I would not be surprised if it will move more than that. 9-10 months is very much likely. Thanks to USCIS for not processing cases effectively and constantly falling behind. Recently released processing times would definitely send some chills down DOS Chiefs spine. Increase in processing time means that DOS cannot wait until April visa bulletin to get demand for this year. It has to be this coming month. Doing rapid movement will not only ensure enough demand for USCIS but will also make sure significant applications are ready at National Visa Center to process at consulates abroad for summer. Straight forward cases at USCIS will see easy approvals this summer. USCIS will rely on low hanging fruits to reach their processing goals.
EB3 category will move slow but steady as suggested in February visa bulletin"
CM - Posted as shared. This is a plausible theory. Good Luck.
