Hi Vipul,

I am in the same boat as you. My case status still shows "not found".

I did a research and found out that
- SRC applications above SRC1290067724 are updated online.
- Between SRC1290067725 to SRC1290069271, the case status shows "not found"
- Above SRC1290069271, all case status are showing online.

So it seems like we are the unlucky bunch to fall between SRC1290067725 & **6971and are unable to view our statuses online. This group had a RD of Dec 7th and a ND of Dec 9th.

I called USCIS, got a Chinese speaking agent, who was in a hurry to get me off the phone, and said that she has put in a request to update my number online. I don't think it is going to happen.

The most recent case SRC1290120059 with a RD of January 18th was updated online.

An interesting thing I noticed that all December filing with RD of Dec1st to Dec 31st were from sRC1290061XXX to SRC1290094XXX....so about 33000 receipts, which roughly equals around 11,000 applicants at TSC. This includes the universe of all EB applicants and other asylees and refugees. If one speculates that more than 70% of these applications are EB2-IC, which would mean that there are about 7700 EB2 I/C applicants in December.

So far, from Jan1st to Jan 21st, the number of receipts range from SRC1290094XXX to SRC1290120XXX, or roughly about 26000. I would think that there would be more applicants/petitions in January...which makes me think that we could see another large movement in Feb visa bulletin.

Yesterday we only received one sms/email regrading approval of EAD for my wife (I got sms twice for the same SRC# once at 9.30cst and at 9.45cst). I did not receive the approval email for myself both for EAD and AP and my wifes AP approval email was also not received.
Did anyone else here experience this kind of out of synch approvals (emails/sms) for EAD/AP?
I checked online as well only the one SRC# (EAD for wife) is shown as card production ordered.

our own veni experienced this on his 485 approval. So yes its possible. Nothing to worry too much over this.

Adding to what Q said, same thing just happened to me. I got EAD approval email only and not AP approval email (AP SRC# also has no case status change). I haven't got the EAD CPO email yet.

No, I did not open any SR. But, called USCIS customer service twice (once last week of Dec, and last week). I am not sure if those calls had anything to do with the approvals at all.

I have a serious question:

My PD is Apr-08 and I am filing for my 485 this month. Documentation is done and application will go out early next week. My 140 is approved.

Our upper management changed few days back and there are rumors about reshuffle including layoffs. There is no need to assume that my position is safe if they decide to get rid of entire division in restructuring.

What will be my options, god forbid, if my position is eliminated? It is possible that company keeps my 140 alive if this happens.

I guess than there will be less trouble if this happens after 180 days of 485 file date.

Any help is appreciated.

Guys , i filed as a dependant with the receipt of spouse primary for 485.

When primary gets 485 approval will my dependant file automatically get picked at TSC although primary gets approved at NSC.

My problem is since both of ourcases went to different service centers , heard TSC is being given most of the cases for processing due to load sharing .

I think you are in good shape. You might get the EAD/AP approval any day now. Your FP is done too. Many people who just got their EAD/AP approval have been waiting since November

I can understand your feeling stemcell... i was in the same boat sometime back... i understand only EAD can bring you peace but believe me and just keep moving, spend more time with family, have a fight with the wife :-) ... you will forget about this... waise... all the best for speedy EAD cpo mails... hey , you never know, you might b one of those guys who gets their GC directly ... hang on to the stem bro...

I know the std. wait time is about 2 weeks, but as far as I have seen, ppl get their receipts in 2-3 days. USCIS received the package on the 17th and today Jan 23, I have not gotten the receipts email. Check not cashed as well. Anyone else?
