Usually i get tensed but i m not freaking out this time. The fact that they accepted the case when her date was not current is comforting enough. Lawyers are going to do their thing, we will see after that.
I think your mantra "Stay Calm" is most important and most applicable on this thread. i know we get anxious and need to realize that the processing will not be strictly in order and little here an there is going to happen. Unless there is something that clearly states that there is an issue there is usually no need to worry.

I had to reschedule my fingerprinting (fp) appointment and wanted to share my experiences here. My appt. had to be rescheduled because of my vacation in India. TSC sent me the fp notice and the appt. was earlier than anticipated. I had already informed my lawyer of my return date and the paralegal rescheduled my appt. a week before the scheduled date.
I was worried a little bit if there will be any questions during immigration, at the port of entry, as I was entering after my appt. date but had not got the reschedule notice yet. But no questions were asked (I had a valid H1 stamping and was returning using it). I got my rescheduled appt. notice, a day later.
Today I walked-in to the ASC in Alexandria-VA around noon. The center was free with hardly 10 people around, filled the form, showed my ID and the appt. letter, and the fp was done in 10 minutes. If anyone needs to walk-in to this center, I think it should be fine. No questions are asked about your appt. time. There is also ample parking space in the facility.

Thats some wishful thinking on my part.. I was told that there is a 2 week gap between the time when you get the FP notice and the actual FP date. I haven't received the FP notice yet.. hence the "coming soon".. Assuming the information is correct, I should be going for my FP in about 14 days of receiving the notice..

Personally, and this is just my gut feeling (based on the available information), I expect to see the China/India EB2 cutoff date continue to move forward at a rate of about one year per month. If we do, then the cutoff date will start to retrogress, ultimately settling in at around mid-2009. If we don't have enough applications in the pipeline, then we will see a fall down of numbers into Worldwide EB3 - where there are more than enough pending applications to use up the quota.

Ron has always been bullish on EB2 India - perhaps a way of attracting EB3 to EB2 porting. In fact, he offers free consultations for porting. Having said that, I do remember a newsletter from a few months ago where he predicts that Eb2 india dates will fly once the July 07 dates are cleared...

I got my first fp notice exactly a week after my receipt notice.
Wow..Just 2 months of processing.. and that too Holiday months?? I think this would be a one-off case but I hope each application is processed as fast as that one..

KD thanks for posting. Even though this is not a clean case it is significant. The primary for this case is a Jul 2007 filer and was approved in Nov, the dependent filed in Nov and approved now. Still from a standpoint it is very significant that they are now looking at EB2 I/C cases of any kind filed in Nov. I see on Trackitt that approval levels are higher in Jan.
