where can I find out more about the actual I-485 process, in particular what are the steps after you file? Finger prints, EAD, AoS?

Hello to all,

I have filed 485 for the first time this Sept (2013), Recd receipts for me and my wife (I-485, I765, I131) and also the FP appt notice scheduled 10/09/13. I was wondering any chance of me getting GC before the retrogress season begins. Some of the experts on this forum believe that dates could hold on to June 08 for EB2I for another month. Is there anything I could do to expedite my GC process. If queries such as SR needs to be opened, I do not know which category should I pick for the reason for SR. Is there any adverse affect for opening SR query. Between my application is at NSC and have not recd EAD/AP yet.

Please help.

My spouse and I applied for COS (I-485, I-767, I-131) on August 3rd 2013. I received my EAD, AP and GC in September 2013. However my spouse (dependent) did not get her GC approved yet. Online status still shows as Acceptance on 8/3/2013.
Priority Date: 6/27/2007. Is there anything I can do other than open a Service Request with USCIS National Customer Service Center.

I sent 485 application and is received on Aug 1 2014. No receipts and checks cleared yet.

Anyone on same boat?
