Instead of mailing out of my application on Nov 30th, my lawyer delayed it for no reason and mailed out on 2nd Dec. According to the paralegal, the application was received on Monday, 5th Dec. My checks are not cashed yet. I did not sign up for e-notification. Anybody else who mailed their applications on 2nd Dec and yet to see their checks getting cashed?

My Application was mailed on the 2nd as well. I believe they received the packet on 5th (assuming it was sent via FedEx). In my case my lawyer didn't delay the process rather I dropped the packet on December 1st. I was expecting the lawyers office to take a few days rather they submitted everything immediately. Does it matter few days here or there? My check was cashed on the 9th.
I think application content would matter. In my case, I have two I140 with different priority date and category. My lawyer has requested for "REQUEST FOR CONVERSION OF EB-3 PRIORITY DATE TO EB-2 PETITION". I am guessing that my case is under review with VO before they cash out my check and issue me receipt.

U got a good lawyer Sam. Don't see lawyers doing things promptly...Well, for me, i was hoping to get the receipts and the FP notice before i travel to the West Coast for a month or so, work and mini-vacation. I guess i'll have to leave without it, and have someone check my mailbox regularly and mail me the fp notice once it's in the mail.

Will the lawyer receive all the receipts notice for I-131, I-765 & I-485?
You will receive them.
My lawyer didn't get a copy I think because he asked for the receipt numbers.

My application was filed on Nov 30th and delivered on Dec 1st. Still i haven't received notices and also my checks are not cashed. Is anyone in similar situation.
My colleague, who filed 485 in October at TSC got his EAD/AP already. I think roughly 2 months. His application was under EB1, but I don't think that matters with respect to EAD/AP receipt time.
Nayekal, are you going to travel on H1B or AP? I am asking because I was also thinking about a trip to India, but I will require stamping if I go.
Essenel, I am planning to go to India on AP. I have been working in this company for more than 6 years and its listed in fortune 100. I don't think H1 stamping is a bigger issue, but I am cautious about any issues if I go for stamping. I know that once, I come back, I will be a parolee and will have status with exp date of my EAD / AP, which is for 1 year and hoping that I will get GC by then. If there is any issue with that and my I485 gets denied, then I will just go back to India. I have had enough of this immigration bs for the past 12 years of my stay.

if you are on H1 (extended with 140) and then have any issues with 485... do you stay till H1 expires?
