FP is not needed for EAD/AP... Many cases where EAD/AP granted without FP done...
FP is only needed for 485 stage processing...

gc_usa :- Thank you. Hoping for the best, things haven't been so well at work, last week CFO and CTO got fired from our organisation. And many in the queue. So sooner the better to keep my status.

No. You don't have to submit the original notarized document. In case if you are scheduled an interview at local office, then you are supposed to bring in the originals.

This is the problem. My appointment notice says I-485 and I-765. Can you check your FP notice and double-check if you don't mind.

Trackitt information - Someone called USCIS customer service for updates as the Receipt number was not recognized under online status. He spoke to L2 oficer as he claims, was informed that the Data bases are maintained by Private parties and they were already alerted reg this.

So what I believe is USCIS is not working in the weekends, but their data bases are updated accordingly even in the weekends.

But I am not sure about this .... just a thought .

My FP notice also had both SRC*** numbers. But I got my EAD and AP approved the very next day after my FP is done.

    Hello all,

My wife and I have FP appointment scheduled on 3/14 at the same time at 8AM. I was wondering if it is OK to take our toddler (not being FPed) along for the appointment. Since the appointment center a little far from our residence, we will have to leave at a time when the Childcare center is not open.

We did it just with DL, no one asked for PP. So, just one form of ID

    1) Take along 1 form of government issued photo id (second one is good as a back up) and your finger printing notice.
    2) Here in Phoenix the DL is accepted as a form of id, as long as it was issued in Arizona. My NY license wasn't accepted, but I had my passport with me.
    3) I saw a couple come in with an infant and were allowed to take him along. I also saw an old woman who came with her adult son (as a translator) and he was not allowed in.
    4) What happens: a) You stand in line, b) show them your FP notice and id, c) put your things through the Xray machine, d) walk through the metal detector & get frisked if necessary, e) walk into the finger printing waiting room, f) fill out a form and hand it in, g) get a number, h) wait to be called into the finger printing room (my center had about 6 fingerprinting stations and 4 of them were manned when I was there), i) get photographed and fingerprinted, j) get your FP notice stamped certifying completion and k) leave.

same for us.. just DL no PP or anything else. Also someone asked about EAD and FP. Mine was approved before FP. On the card it says FP not available and validity is for 1 year. They used the passport picture that was submitted withe the application. My friend's EAD was approved after FP. His card contains FP appts pictures.

Yes you can take yr toddler with you for FP. No problem at all doing so.

But you have to make sure that officer don't take your toddler photograph and FP instead of yours...
