I think that they take action on congress man query only when processing time is outside the range, for Texas 485 processing time is 19months so may be that is reason they denied my request as it is only 17 months so far, it sucks but that is the analysis

Is there any limit on how many times you can request Senator or Congressman to contact USICS, my expedite request is denied now because may be it is before the average processing time, But Can I request again in a month or so when I am in average processing time ?

Friends... I am very happy to share that I have finally received my Green Card. Its been 11 years and 6 months! This forum is a treasure and has helped me a lot over years. Here is an idea to do some good Karma! You can refile your dependent cases in FB now and save one or two or three(who would've thunk!) visas for the backlogged folks. However - it is costly - i have to admit.
