Qs Contribution to Forecasting on Qesehmk.org Oct 2013 Onwards

I also enjoy our "disagreements". Often the best learning comes out of the exchanges. On that note, I will be very disappointed if you don't contribute on the predictions front next year.

Spec - I don't want to leave this unanswered. Struggled a bit whether to answer in private or public. But I guess honesty is the best policy. And here is the thing. I started this blog and have contributed to it along with other Gurus without really expecting anything other than the happiness that one gets in helping others. In the process I got good friends like yourself Teddy Veni Nishant and others.

About 5 months back I left my job and am an entrepreneur now. WhereismyGC is one activity. Second is in the making. I have purposefully kept whereismyGC as separate from qesehmk.org as I can. I will continue to moderate qesehmk.org and even contribute. But contributing forecast here is going to cannibalize my paid service at WhereismyGC. That's why I will withhold myself on forecast.

I am sure there are others who are quite capable and will continue to forecast. The forum is here to stay. And it will be run exactly in the same manner as it has been in the past. As always we welcome anybody who is willing to come and and moderate. If you think you can lead and/or moderate - by all means - please come ahead and do it. There is no one leader here. This is an open place with open ideas and no secrets and backdoor dealings.

On another note - I do think that CIR needs a lot of work. Unfortunately I just don't think EB community is organized and unified as it should be. I sincerely hope that this forum continues to contribute to an enlightened dialogue and unified and concerted voice for EB (and frankly all) immigrants.

To summarize I will contribute in other ways to the forum. And I promise I will maintain qesehmk.org independent from whereismyGC so that people don't have to use one to benefit from the other. So I hope you all find it fair and if so - I ask for your best wishes.

I fully understand your reasons. More so than any effect on WIMGC, I realise that the one thing going it alone needs is masses of time and energy. The forum must drain both.

Understanding that doesn't mean I can't be disappointed, even if it is somewhat selfish.

I think we are very lucky that Matt has decided to join the forum and I hope he will continue, but his process is very similar to my own.

Your approach to calculation and predictions has always been somewhat different to mine. I will miss the counterpoint it brings.

Once again, all the very best for your endeavors. It is a brave move and I wish you the success you deserve.

Congrats Q and though I have been reading this forums from last few days I know Matt and Teddy from other forums, I have seen that you,Spec,nishant,kamnani have been doing a very awesome job of predicting and analyzing stuff for all of us here and giving us hope and you are the one who is still giving me a flicker of hope that I would be current in Sep 2013 and would be able to file I-485 atleast then as i missed the bus in 2012 due to job change..

Q firstly let me congratulate you on starting your venture fulltime on the forum as well. Iam fairly sure that success will come by to an individual of your capability and caliber. I recollect some of the great statements from you by far the best one was “all backlog by Jul 2007 will be cleared by Sep 2011” and this was something that gave me great hope individually. Your methodology is very simplistic and yet very logical, you definitely have many followers with the now close to 10 million page reads for all your threads combined. More than anything else you have earned good karma.

To all my friends, I have not been very active in writing over the recent days but do read all posts on a fairly regular basis. Have been busy with other aspects; took up a new job 7 months post GC (Changing multiple trains as opposed to driving), visits from family, recent new addition to my family, playing with my elder one till midnight and off late house hunting. Rest assured Iam still around and will contribute more often.

I will be of course around - just that won't provide forecast. But there are so many others now who are helping others ... so I am sure that we can continue to run this forum exactly like we have done it in the past.

I will reiterate that if any one else (just like you imdeng) would like to be moderators - you are more than welcome. The only criteria we apply to make somebody a moderator is his/her track record of helping others on this forum. It doesn't matter how old or new you are to the forum.
