Change of Address Question - cant seem to find a consus answer

I am a Permanent resident and do not recall submitting an AR-11 when I last moved. I did subsequently give my current address on an I-94 recently when i arrived from a foreign trip. If i gave my current address on the I-94, does that mean i do not need to submit an AR-11 ? I am asking as I shortly need to complete an I-90 for a new card and want to be sure the address i supply matches what the USCIS have on record.

Many thanks for your help !

    ChicagoSaint,

As an LPR, you would not be required to fill in an I-94 (when they still existed in physical form) when returning to the USA.

The law does require you to submit an AR-11 shortly after you change address.

If you haven't done so, you should do so immediately.

I don't think you can trust that USCIS will know from the erroneously filled I-94.

I hope the I-90 application goes smoothly.
Without an irritant, there can be no pearl.
