What Happens to H1B Pending 221g in Canada If H4 Obtained In India and Used?

Hello gurus ... I've a question regarding H1/H4 visa of my wife. My wife attended her H1B stamping in Canada about a month ago. VO issued 221g and so far there is no movement or update on her case. Now we are planning to schedule an appointment for her H4 visa in India. Question is, if she gets her H4 and enters US on H4, what happens to her pending H1B case? Will that get revoked automatically or can she still get it stamped if she gets an approval email from Canada US Embassy?

She should be able to return to Canada after the 221g is resolved and get the H1B visa stamping. She could then return to the USA using either visa, depending which status she wants to be in at that time.
