German visa application form

Hi,

I am applying for a German(Schengen ) transit visa. I have couple of questions regarding the application form.

Q-17) What's the applicant home address and e-mail address?
Does it mean my current India address or my address in India.

Q-18)Under Residence in a country other than the country of current nationality
Type of Residence Permit:
Residence permit or equivalent No:

I would appreciate if someone could provide more information on this.

My advice, don't over-think these things. If they have follow up questions, they'll ask you.

Home address in the US assuming you're living here most of the time.

Type of residence permit would H1B (if valid) or Employment Authorization Card (it has a # - I-151?)
Residence permit # would be your H1B # or your EAD #.
