Lightbulb Location change w or w/o job change

    Hi
I have a quick question related to EAD and relocation (working with the same company). I have EAD (02/2010 PD EB2I) and got it renewed as well recently. I am planning to move out of my current location (working in the same company still) but will be working from different city (work from home). My company is fine with that, I would like to know whether USCIS will be OK with it. My labor and all are filed back in 2010 with the current location. Any impact that I should be prepared for (either when I file AR-11 for address change) or eventually when the date becomes current for my 485? Apologies if I have used the wrong thread to post this question.

I too have the same question. Got a better position in a different state, not sure to go with it or not. I feel I'm too close to GC and wonder if any change would put brakes on it.

But I found below in immihelp

    Geographic Location
New job does not have to be in the same geographic area but can be anywhere in the US.

GCKnowHow - this would be great if true.

I know it is definitely true for AC21. Can you confirm if it is true while moving from one jobs to another with the GC sponsoring employer.

I no longer provide calculations/predictions ever since whereismyGC.com was created.
I do run this site only as an administrator. Our goal is to improve clarity of GC process to help people plan their lives better.

I did contact my company attorney on this matter. They seem to suggest that it is absolutely fine to move to another location after 180 days of filing I-485. Similar to AC-21, they seem to suggest that I am absolutely fine to move to different location and work for the same company.
