Dependent spouse of an alien worker

I know its same old topic, but thought of checking if I can find some answers here.

It's going to take a while before I lose the "Alien" title... and wondering how people manage during this period. I have been trying for more than a year to get H1 for my lady... but it’s just not happening. The guys who are ready to sponsor H1 are asking to get F1 from shady universities like unva.edu, this just doesn’t seem right.

She gave up on getting H1, and thought of studying, but that also did not work out.

Is there not any way of legally obtaining H1; than first obtaining F1 and getting OPT?

If yes, you should be able to find a H1B sponsor(employer).

wow dude... the title itself is like a movie.... cowboy and aliens kinds...
dont go for universities unless they are recognized and all... i would suggest doing job hunting and keeping an employer in reserve so that he can apply for H1 as soon as you have a job offer in premium processing... my 2 cents...
