EDIT: Ok - so after some googling-poogling i understand that this is not a one-off case. We have to take the child for FP as well - only diff is that, for child only 1 finger is taken. The child is signified with "code 2" on the FP notice while for us it's "code 3". Checking with lawyer in any case....
Good to see NSC folks starting to get FP notice. I am still waiting for mine.

Guys, Finally I received my EAD / AP, a single card with exp date of 12/05/2012. I expected EAD to have 2 years, but it is valid for just 1 year and I still waiting for FP notice.
I blocked my tickets for next month 11th and hope that we will be done with FP by that.

In my case my lawyer didn't delay the process rather I dropped the packet on December 1st. I was expecting the lawyers office to take a few days rather they submitted everything immediately.
