It means both the numbers are available courtesy quarterly spillover, monthly allocation and they are being used as well, so the excitement is evenly loaded this year.

many congratulations
Teddy , based on the current consumption and readily available pre-adjudicated cases for this 2012 fiscal year , until what point you think visas will become available for 485 approval . Also how does this play out when TSC lags behind NSC on preadjudication of cases where people with much later PDs could potentially be preadjudicated at NSC while TSC has folks awaiting . Sorry if this Q has already been answered
According to the current indicators GC approval line will be somewhere in Q1 2008, however if TSC does not pickup there might be more TSC filers with a PD before that waiting. The next 2 VB's will define how the agencies want to regulate approvals. For now any good case will get approved as the dates are current.
Kanmani SSN can be made immediately after getting EAD. EAD is one of the eligibility criteria’s. After getting GC one should just have a replacement EAD card requested having legend "Valid with DHS Authorization" removed. When we get the SN made on H1 / L1 the same legend is there. So basically there are 2 options getting he card made after EAD or GC. Note that removing the legend does not change the number it stays the same. Getting SSN made does not constitute using EAD as well, only reporting on I9 does. Once you get SSN made IRS has to be notified on the same so that they void out the ITIN.

Here is an update from our attorney friend.
"With respect to EB2 there is nothing more that our law firm knows at this time than that was posted by AILA based on last meeting with DOS Visa Control Office Chief. This is my own conclusion that dates will move atleast 6 months. Infact I would not be surprised if it will move more than that. 9-10 months is very much likely. Thanks to USCIS for not processing cases effectively and constantly falling behind. Recently released processing times would definitely send some chills down DOS Chiefs spine. Increase in processing time means that DOS cannot wait until April visa bulletin to get demand for this year. It has to be this coming month. Doing rapid movement will not only ensure enough demand for USCIS but will also make sure significant applications are ready at National Visa Center to process at consulates abroad for summer. Straight forward cases at USCIS will see easy approvals this summer. USCIS will rely on low hanging fruits to reach their processing goals.
EB3 category will move slow but steady as suggested in February visa bulletin"
Gurus/Others,
How soon after you mailed the 485 application did you get the text/email notification (form g-1145) of its acceptance?
My 485 was delivered to the Lewisville, TX address yesterday.
some one open the post 485 thread!!!
Nov filer qwerty14 with pd in august 2007 got gc from tsc .....
yaar me too two US degrees in computer and electrical engineering, after 4 years BE Engineering in India, and a straightforward one single full time job since 7 years, with progressive experience, promotions, industry and area applicable salary. Now only if the NSC could send me a freaking FP notice .... grrrrr
It will come man. Just hang in there, it never misses anyone.
Hang in there Nishant bhai...you should have seen the trend at NSC...the later the FP date, the faster the 485 Approval.
My FP was done on Dec 15th...but whats the use if they delay the approval.
Also, if with your qualifications, you would (should) be considered a very low hanging fruit.
