There is a statement in the Receipt that is confusing. It states :
"Please note that if a PD is printed on this notice, the priority does not reflect the earlier retained PD"
Is this standard? Does this mean that the PD printed in the receipt is not my actual PD?
This is also standard verbiage. Its really for porting cases it tells them the older pd is not the one printed here. I don't know how it works specifically for these cases but attorneys do submit a request to capture the old PD if it’s not already captured on the new I140.Quote:

I got my EAD/AP email around 12-1am(EST) and 485 around 6amEST. But I don't think this can be taken as generalized time-frame.

Guys, Just an Observation:-
I checked few 485 application status before and after mine (and my spouse) receipt numbers. Mine is LIN******18 (approved 25th Jan) and my wife's is LIN*******21(approved 25th Jan).
Other 485 application status in vicinity are:-
LIN********15 - Approved 27th Jan
LIN********12 - Approved 27th Jan
LIN********09- Initial Review
LIN********06 - Initial Review
LIN********03 - Approved 27th Jan
The receipt numbers in between are I-765 and I-131 for the applicants. So seems like folks with receipt numbers in vicinity of yours can be good indication of whether your case is being worked on or not. Good Luck to everyone.

Looking at the approval updates (for Oct/Nov 2011 filers) from this and various other blogs, the approvals seem erratic (mean no offense) compared to the assignment of PD dates e.g Oct 2007 PDs getting approved earlier than Aug 2007 ones.Though I am ecstatic on the progress,just wondering what are the factors influencing this.
