Thanks Q, GCGCGCGC, BangaloreBoy and Noesis for the wishes :) !!
I was travelling to India for the holidays and jus catching up on approvals. Good to see a bunch of familiar names getting greened! Congrats to all!!
congrats @Aceman and @iamdeb!!! Really happy for you guys. @Aceman keep sharing your wisdom in this forum.
I have missed the happy news from a lot of friends who have been greened. Best wishes for your future. Happy to hear that this process is over in approx 10 years time for the recent few.
Finally, my turn. The final Over is not easy.
Today I received my daughters Card and that?s the last one.
Mine was approved and card mailed in November and USPS could not deliver and returned to USCIS. With some efforts able to get that in the December end .
My wife card received straight
My Daughter got RFE for medicals. Doc. missed some vaccine information. I sent again the fresh medicals and approved, and card mailed.
This site gives me relaxation when required. Thanks to Q for maintaining this platform and there are some nice people giving very important information .
I wish you all the best and Thanks again
It's my turn !! Finally Greened.
Thank you each one of you for your contribution...
I truly admire this forum and people.
rarely we see such a discipline forum folks.. Kudos to each one of you. Special Shout out to Admins.
One piece of advice for Oct 2020 Filers still waiting to be greened is "Do not hesitate to contact congressman".
I reached out to Kansas congressman and got my case approved very next day.
Thank you

Congratulations. I second that. A friend of mine (ROW) got GC after contacting congressman, last week. That person was from a large metro. We have two threads for Congressman / Senator process; One under EAD and another under AOS.
If you are in a deep red district in the middle of nowhere consider yourself lucky. This process does NOT work well for people with residences in big population centers. For people in big cities / centers / metros with lots of immigration numbers, you need to bring something extra to the game. Because 100 people are going to congressman from your district every month (or week?) or so. The staff will not have time to take up your case. They have more important matters to attend to. They will simply say that they are working on it and your request will not be in their to-do list. In such cases, you need to document when and whom you had talked to USCIS and what their reply was. If you did that five or ten times, I bet the staff will know that you did everything in your power before you had asked them for help. Another thing is when USCIS tries to close your congressman request with a false statement, use that against them to push your case. In my case they replied that my PD was not current (blatently false) and I was able to give that extra ammunition to the congressman office. It might not work well if you tell USCIS that they are wrong (it might backfire), but a congressman's liason can do it and ask for an explanation. Congressman or Senator does not matter. It is the staff that works with you that matters.
So you need to build your case for the congressman's liasson; Another way is to build good relations with them when you get a chance (or you had used them previously). Otherwise you will be one of the hundred and they may not think your case is that important. It is similar to college admissions or college campus interview as an example. Somehow you need to go to the next level where the congressman's office takes up your file starts making enquiries.
Good Luck folks.
I finally received my card in hand today after 12 year long wait(EB2 PD 12/2011; FD 10/2021).
I was a silent spectator for a long time and had learned a lot from this forum. Special thanks to the gurus(Q, Spec, Idliman, Kanmani, and a lot of others) in this forum who gave us valuable insights about the inner workings of USCIS/DOS and PD movement.
What a journey! Looking forward for the next adventure!
It's finally my turn today. Got the magic email after 17 years on H1. My interview happened last week.
I have been following this forum since 2011 and learned a lot about immigration. Thank you all for your support.
Congratulations Transformer, Aceman, Ajay and everyone who got their card.
I do hope to continue to see the good news pouring I
