I applied with spouse receipt as dep on 14th Dec and my case went to TSC for which my attorney says it is ok since there is load sharing . I'm still awaiting approval .
Guys, do you know if my case needs to transfer back to NSC to be in line with my primary spouse.

A friend of mine with the same PD & RD as mine got EAD approval notification yesterday night. So, looks like there are a few cases with early NOV RDs which are getting delayed for some reason. Just bad luck. Don't worry, you should get your approvals soon.

Today my company (desi consulting co.) send me email stating that "company came to know that my priority dates are current and company will file GC (I485) for me. Before company file my GC (I485) I have to sign a contract with them (they have email me 19 page legal (lawyer) contract). Company GC contract state that if I leave company in 18 months after filing my I485 than I have to pay $25,000/- (cost for filing my I485) to company and other bla..bla..bla.."
I was luck to know all this kind of things from senior(old) H1B friends. Taking there advice I had filed my I485 by my own lawyer without letting company know.
Reason I am posting this here is my other friend working for desi consulting also received similar letter from his company.
From what I know, GC is for future employment and if you end up quitting your current company as soon as you get your GC, it may be considered for scrutinization immediately or during naturalization, it may be frowned upon. 18 months is a decent time to stick with the company after you get your GC. But 25,000 penalty is too much. Are such "bonds" even valid ?

Below are my details. Filed 485 for both me & my spouse at the same time 12/1/2011. I received EAD/AP approval email last night but spouse's online EAD/AP status still shows Initial Review. Is this usual.. anyone else in a similar situation?

FP Notice: 1/06/12 | FP Appt: 1/26/12 | FP early walk-in completed: 1/09/12
EAD/AP: Approved 1/19/12

18 months is way too long. 6 months post GC is the longest credible recommendation I have seen (search the murthy forum, this has been beaten to death there). This is a clear attempt by your employer to keep you an extra year. I recommend that you ask your employer to reimburse your expenses with the promise to pay them back if you quit pre-18 months.Quote:

usually you should sign such contract and as soon as you are greened, do not work and let them fire you :)

More than 10 trackitt users who filed in Nov 2011 got EAD/AP approvals yesterday. This is the good part. Only 2 trackitt users who filed in OCT 2011 received GC approval emails.
I am no expert by any means compared to folks on this form. Looks like EAD/AP is pretty much assured before 90 days, GC... god only knows.
Myself & Wife EAD&AP approved yesterday. Got SMS at 10:45 PM.
