Hi All,

As we all know some of us are getting EAD / AP with and without fingerprint on them. What is the significance of that.

If the Finger print is on the EAD / AP card then does that mean
1) your FP were ok and you might not got get an additional notice to re do it.
2) You background and name check is done.

Not having the finger print on the EAD / AP card can be
1) First time FP was not correct and the applicant has already or will receive a second notice for that
2) Your background and name check is not completed by FBI and since EAD / AP is not dependent on this so they issue the same with no finger prints on them

Any thoughts....

To my understanding I don't see a reason to relate it to any of the cases you mentioned below.

Many, including I, got EAD even before receipt of FP notice. It's been more than a month and I haven't received another FP notice nor heard anyone reporting it here.

You are right. One of the additional reasons which i can think off is that they are delaying on the FP could be because of the fact they are not able to find a suitable time slot at the nearest ASC based on the applicant address. in these cases they are issuing EAD / AP without fingerprint....

Online status shows approval for EAD, AP;

No sign of FP notice yet.

Congrats to all the Dec filers who got their EAD/AP!
I guess, NSC is on a roll here. That's a good sign.

For the Nov filers, who haven't got their EAD/AP yet, probably you guys will get your GC directly...that's my hunch.
