Mine was marked as age inappropriate.

usually as soon as they receive it.My attorney filed the response on 15th, it changed the status on 16th. Of course stayed there, ever since.

Thanks Leo. My documents reached today at 9:15 to the mail room at NSC. Just wanted to see when they will update it

Congrats IEB2 you are back in the game. We should hear good news soon from you and Leo. Iam still working with my attorney looks like it will take the whole week.

I'm guessing it should by COB today, if your attorney had sent it by overnight FedEx.

Leo its already in mailing room of NSC today morning. Yes she overnight the package yesterday. so hopefully today by end of day it should be updated correct?

The birth certificate thing is done, lawyer still working on EVL they will take their own sweet time.

ahhhh...that's the most painful part. When people whom we trust can't feel our pain. We know CIS has millions of cases and can't have that personal touch or human element in the way they do business. But, our own attorneys who get paid by us ( directly/indirectly), sitting on the cases is unacceptable.

It took almost 22 days for my attorney to file my 485 case in October.

I got an RFE-email for my wife's (I485) application moments ago. It is a request for additional evidence. I hope its straight forward...phew....additional wait time begins..:-w

Friends, any idea how long it takes to get the actual RFE details in hand once the status online is updated to "Request for Evidence"?

Getting a RFE is a bitter sweet feeling, bitter because it could have been approval sweet atleast that the file was touched and worked upon.

This is so true, I simply fail to understand why it should take so long at times.

I almost called my attorney every 2 hrs to drive her to file my RFE. I am paying for it and service is very bad.
