You should get the notices in a couple days hopefully. I dont think PD is a factor in fingerprinting.

Has any one opened an Info Pass appointment for EAD/ AP ??
Mine is pending for almost 85 Days. Wondering whether i need to wait past 90 days or can i open one now.(it's 86 days so far !!)
I 485 processing time for TSC showing March 2011 and for NSC showing 4 months.
DOes it mean TSC is really screwed up with the timelines...
Eb2_Dec07 Yes you are right.
The processing times for 765 and 131 are showing 3 months. Any way the InfoPass appointment i am planning to take is for I-765.
We received our EAD & AP approval emails a few weeks back and I received my EAD/AP card on Jan 13th, but my wife hasn't received hers yet. Its been two weeks since I received my Card. Anybody had a similar experience?
We did receive approval notices. But my wife's notice had 2 pages saying both EAD and AP were approved. Mine has only one page saying that the EAD was approved. No mention of AP.
The processing times haven't been updated since mid November. It's been over 2 months since they updated the processing times. Looks like TSC in general is lagging behind roughly by 1.5 to 2 months for 485 related approvals. However, several October filers got their 485 approvals within 4 months.
Both, me and my wife are on H1B visa. Our visas were renewed after our last trip home and we need stamping to leave the country. We are planning to go to India in the first week of March.
I am the primary applicant for the GC. Our FP appointment is scheduled for 02/03. I hope to get our EAD/APs before we leave. My attorney recommended that I get my H1 visa stamped and use it at Port of Entry and maintain the H1 status until I get the GC in hand.
Should my wife get her visa stamped as well (as a backup plan)? Can she use EAD/AP while I am on H1B?
She can use EAD/AP safely as long as you are the primary...in worst case if 485 goes bad, then she might have to look into other options as EAD will go down with 485...
Worst case, she can go for stamping along with you for her H1. If approved, well and good otherwise she can come back on EAD/AP...
Champ you:
"Can she use EAD/AP while I am on H1B?"
I asked this to Ron Gotcher for myself and he says that is fairly common to use and is okay. Again, I do not know the details of your case, no 2 cases are the same to make a generic statement. Email your lawyer to confirm. This is immigration. You should seek professional advice.
"Should my wife get her visa stamped as well ?"
I got myself a H4 stamping although since I wished to maintain status.
"My attorney recommended that I get my H1 visa stamped and use it at Port of Entry and maintain the H1 status until I get the GC in hand."
That is the safest bet even if something were to happen to your job. Once you choose to go on EAD, then you have to have your AP in hand to return to the states.
No offence to anyone, but all H1 B visas are being extremely scrutinized in Indian consulates. You have nothing to worry if the company is in good standing, pays you well and your pay is not too low. Ditto for H4.
I need input from you guys before I proceed,
JAN 2012 filer, hv receipts in hand. EB-2 India with 140 approved in 2009, with same sponsor employer from 5 years, full time position.
Attorney did not seek EVL, said W-2 and Paystub is fine. my employer can give EVL easily. after some research realised that EVL is an important initial evidence, So, I am wondering if I can send an EVL now to add to my application with a cover letter saying that it has been left out inadvertantly. Any risks associated with this or better to wait for RFE if any, I am just trying to avoid the RFE route if possible as it will add more months for an approval.
any input is appreciated, thanks,
If its not a huge expense, I'd maintain my current address and do mail forwarding to your new address or have someone pick up your mail. I imagine Dec 2007 filers should get their GCs soon.
USCIS has updated processing times as of Nov 30, 2011:
TSC Employment-based adjustment applications March 24, 2011
NSC Employment-based adjustment applications 4 months
Any October filers( as in RD:October 2011) received their GC or approval in the last week ?
Processing times updated.
I485 NSC: 4 months
I485 TSC: March 24th, 2011
For I-140, TSC says October 2, 2007, seems almost unbelievable. For I-140, NSC says 4 months.

Check it out.
UPDATE: kd2008 has pointed it out above already it seems.
From trackitt, no one form India or China have received any approvals this week. Only ROW cases approvals in past 2 days. They might have approved all cases filed in OCT (which is highly unlikely). Or... visas have been exhausted (I hope this is not the case). Just my two cents. I am no expert by any means.
Q/Teddy/Nishanth/Veni,
What's a good time frame to contact the senator/congressman about pending 485 app? Does, 111 days sound reasonable for TSC?
Best!

Aisehi dimaakh mein 2 keeda aaya..
1. Does it make any difference if one gets EAD/AP cards before FP or if you get them after FP (EAD card with your finger prints on it)?
2. Assuming one gets a 1 yr EAD card.. is the validity 1 yr from RD or 1 yr from I-765 approval (Notice Date)?
