I just got an email that my I-485 approved and CPO.
Also got the EAD/AP denial. Does that mean I am green?

T, was it for a dependent? I believe dependent's will get their AOS apps approved in less time, when compared to primary counterparts.
One of my cousin applied for AOS and after 2 months, went to India, got married and his wife filed 3 months later, but both of them were approved at the same time.
Her approval duration is close to a month.
Is there an "Approval Notice" with a new I-94 that comes with an approved EAD/AP ?
I ask because my wife's H1 expires in May but we are current as of Jan 1 and expect EAD/AP before then. But since the I-94 is what really determines if you can stay in the country, she will need a new one post-May.
Is there a delay in NSC sending out the FP notices? In my case (PD: 02/22/2008), the RD of 12/07 and a ND of 12/13. I was wondering when should I expect the FP notices, considering the holidays? At what stage should I start thinking about opening a SR?
Thanks
Guys,
Today my wife and I got FP done at Detroit ASC. It was super fast. We were in and out within 15 mins.
@rdsingh79, Great. now the waiting game starts
Given, same number of available visas and same number of applications with similar PDs ready for approval, EB1 and EB2 are SAME. However, we all know that there are more number of applications in one bucket for the same PD than the other. So, there will be some probabilistic advantage in favor of EB1.
Going to get more friends in this thread and I guess this thread is going to become the busiest thread in the site soon!! More people are going to upgrade from "EB2 predictions" to "Post 485-filing next month" (Referring to EB2-I PD movement in today's VB) :-)
Congos to everyone who are current now.
Govt is actively doing something to help Civil Surgeons make some money :-)
Dear Friends,
The status of my AOS application changed to - Card/Document Production this evening. I see the following on USCIS website:
"Card/ Document Production
On January 7, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283"
I assume this means my GC is approved? My application details below:
Service Center: TSC
PD: 29 June 2007
RD: 03 Oct 2011
EAD/AP approval: 13 Dec 2011
Card Production: 07 Jan 2012
Looks like Oct files are being touched now for adjudication. Wishing everyone the best of luck here and I have a feeling things will move fast for Oct and probably later filers too, soon.
I have to Thank Q for this blog and all the contributors sincerely who made this a special place for me (and people like me) to get a real understanding of this whole confusing GC process in clean numbers; cutting through all the empty words that are being thrown around everywhere else when I started trying to make sense of my wait times. Wish you a lot of success in everything you do Q! Big fan of yours (sorry if embarassing you!) :)
Best Regards.
