Thanks,
Hi everyone. I have been a silent member of the forum. I used to be little more active before I had kids. But the news I want to share right now is that I just received the text I had been waiting for a long time. Card production is ordered. Thank you Q and spec and many others here on this forum for providing your support, sharing your knowledge and experiences to many of us waiting for a GC this long. And making this wait game manageable with hard data/number crunching. This was a long ride with so many ups and downs- Stressful times thru recessions, layoffs, firm closures and also Covid. I arrived here in the US in Aug. 2003. There are things I could have done differently for sure. There are things I didn't know when I started the process. But almost 18 years later I received a text saying my GC is approved. 10-12 years ago this news would been really exciting. Now I am just relieved for sure. I am also grateful. There is feeling of joy. I will celebrate.
Thank you and good luck to the ones who are still waiting.
Dear Q, Spec, Kanmani, Soggudu & All,
FYI :
Just got the email indicating that the card /document is being produced. Doesnt feel any different other than relief....
Thanks for all the guidance and support over the years.
Ofcourse, i am not going anywhere and will be giving my 2 cents on questions when i can :)
Thank you.
Jack - look at your registration date - 2011. Just make me numb thinking about the fact that we know each other virtually for 10 years! It also gives me pleasure that you feel like sharing the news with us. I just want you to know that there are many people on this forum who do genuinely care and feel happy along with you about this news.
Wish you the very best!
Congratulations and this is the other extreme of JackBrown. The guy/gal silently reads and the forum and registers when GC is approved after 11 years! None the less as I said to Jack - we are all happy for you. Many congratulations.
Congratulations Pandit Arjun, jackbrown_890 and VR_EB2_052010 !
Very encouraging to see GCs getting approved without interview.
Congratulations Pandit Arjun, jackbrown_890 and VR_EB2_052010 on getting greened!!!
Congratulations VR_EB2_052010, Pandit Arjun and jackbrown_890.!
Congratulations Pandit Arjun, jackbrown_890 and VR_EB2_052010 on your GC.
I am seeing for the first time that a October 2020 filer is getting greened. A very positive sign.
Friends, I am happy to report that I and my wife got our I-485 approval status today afternoon. CPO status showed up on 07MAY21 (late Friday evening). As I already had a false GC CPO in 2012, I wanted to be sure before I share it here. I did my I-485J (AC21) proactively in 2019 and delayed submitting I-693 till the last week of RFE deadline. So my medical forms are still valid. My EB3 PERM is still pending with DOL since December. There is no use for it now.
It has been quite a ride. I thank everyone who had helped me to put-up with the stress. I apologize if I had hurt someone's feelings. It was not my intent. I want to thank 'Q' for his openness and encouraging discussions in a civil manner and ofcourse for the effort he puts in to keep this blog running. I will try to stick around and help everyone to the best of my abilities. But eventually we will all lose interest in GC after some time. I want to share any info I collect on N-400 here as the next step. Good Luck all.
Congratulations! When did you get your RFE? I remember some discussions about lack of response on your SR.
My SR came back with standard response of with adjudicating officer and wait for 60 days last month, so was curious on how much time after SR did you get a RFR.
