We still cannot believe it... 11 years wait after first I-140 suddenly came to an end.

Thank you so much Q, idliman, and all others who helped me make decisions over last year... For Indian immigrants suffering in the backlog this forum is just indispensable. I hope it continues for a long time.
I have read pretty emotional responses here over last years, never thought I would be in the same position, it felt like we hit rock bottom especially since 2018. There's just no justice, fairness in America's EB system. I am pretty amazed how fellow backloggers (that I know) just ignore these problems and continue being passive. This is probably only forum to seek help. I hope it evolves into something which can help the EB community with legislative steps as well.

RFE was from Los Angeles FO and no online update about RFE, just final approval was updated.

after 14yrs of wait.. our status for I485 changed to approved.

Here are my case details:

EAD:06/11/2021-Approved
AP:06/11/2021-Approved
I485: FO: Newark, NJ
I485 status : Cards produced, Approved
Medicals, birth certificates - sent with original application.

My tip for those currently applying for I485.. I sent all my details along with medicals and birth certicates from municipality plus notarized certificates along with the original application without leaving any room for RFE except an interview which is not our hands. I am also seeing good approvals from Newark, NJ field office. My neighbors from Feb 2011, March 2010.. both EB2 got approvals too.

I have been an silent admirer and follower of this blog for past many years. Always appreciated how well the forum is moderated and great suggestions made for issues reported by many like me. I am happy to report my GC journey with status - ?new card produced? message. My priority date in straight EB2 may 2011. I had fingerprinting in April -> RFE for medicals in may -> EAD/AP approved last week -> GC status Friday (new cards produced). Good luck for everyone waiting for their approval. Big thank you to all the gurus ! I am sure I continue to follow the forum in future and have always recommended others about this blog !

Good to see movement and see several folks are getting greened. my hearty congratulations to all of them.
It appears to me that, NBC is only service center which picked up the speed. most of the approvals are from NBC (National Benefit Center),
Please share your thoughts.

I believe all SC are picking up speed this last quarter. I think now the wait is on FOs.

Quick question though: if someone's file is still at NBC, does it mean that it is still pending transfer to a FO, right? NBC itself does not process / make decision on I-485?

For those waiting, this is absolutely Chaotic and disappointing to say the least! Can't identify any patterns! "Random" is the only way to characterize the USCIS processing!

Thank You Q, I have been a silent reader of this forum for quite a long time and over the years have gained good knowledge learning for the experiences of each one of you.
Also, congratulations to all who have been greened and also best wishes for the people waiting.

Just to benefit the people who are still waiting to be approved, I will share my experience, my PD became current from July 1st and I was checking the status of my application daily at least twice or thrice to see if anything got updated, and I had chatted with Emma to know about my case being transferred to FO (Newark, NJ), but last Friday (July 23) when I checked with the agent on live chat, she mentioned to me that my case has not yet been assigned by USCIS, i was very disappointed since the talks of 100k GCs getting wasted this year. So, i had lost my hopes that it get approved before Oct. But then USCIS never misses to surprise, very next day on Sat (July 24) I got the email notification saying "New Card is being produced". That's the reason i waited for couple days to make sure if this is real. But I would advice people waiting whatever you hear from live chat, just take it with a pinch of salt.

Chirag - Many Congratulations! and thanks for taking time to post about your green card approval. It feels great to see someone getting greened and increase our belief in getting greened soon. Good to know that It took about 2 months to approve your green card after they actively started working on your application (485J receipt or issuing RFE) I guess you must have submitted your medicals with initial filling and didn't receive any RFE.

Hi My notice date is: Dec/05/2020. What is the importance of that? I have no news on whether my case has been moved to a FO or not.

I posted at 1:52 after many weeks here and looks like it was a lucky charm! I just got card production notifications just a few min back!

PS: I did open an SR on our I-485s (including I-485J) and was promised an update on 7/29. Looks like it worked. So don't pay attention to the processing times in case you applied in Oct and just open a request.
