Thanks!!! GChopeful123. I will check the same with our lawyer. And Congrats for getting your cards just at the time of holiday festivities. One more reason to rejoice :)
Hi All,
Has anyone had an ammended LCA due to location change? Is an ammended H1 B also required or an ammended LCA is enough for relocation?
Thanks everyone for the wishes!
RRRRRR,
I don't think there is an online mechanism to check status on I-485. We can either open a Level 2 SR with USCIS to check status or schedule an infopass appt to know the status. In either case, it's too early and they may not give appt/or open SR citing that the USICS I-485 processing times are around 4 months (or more).
One useful tip for guys going to use AP for traveling abroad.
I found out through my attorney that we can request for H1 B & H4 B statuses to be re-instated once you come back on AP.
If you mean applying for H1B extension, going out and coming back...then everyone shd really read this....

i just finished FP in Atlanta ASC office without any issues. MY date was Jan 2nd week and today i did walk-in, no one asked any questions. it's very cool.
hey all... i am quoting this line from trackitt posted by Teddy bhai... "25 out of 103 folks from TSC now have EAD approvals" as per trackitt numbers.... lets hope we all get them soon!!!!!!
Are there approvals from TSC for who applied in Dec 2011??
@sogddu - Thanks TSC is picking up, I hope they approve a few more EAD / AP's before going on holidays.
@tackle good tackling of questions, hopefully by the link you showed more people will go on Trackitt and check things out.
@leo - Thanks for starting this thread, hope you have your EAD / AP approval soon.
Guys , help understand please.
I received my notices today in mail from Texas Service Center . I'm a dependant with spouse as primary both living in Florida. Our cases filed though different attorneys. Used PRIMARY RECEIPT to file my 485 as a dependent. My spouse's receipts came from NEBRASKA Service center , BUT mine came from TEXAS service center.
Since primary and dependant . Is this normal ?? IS this a problem ??? Spouse employer is based in Michigan and both live in FL . Primary working remotely.
Just called my attorney and was told that both the service centers are overwhelmed beyond the capacity apparently and getting a receipt itself on time is a positive thing . And also , both service centers will share the work load as required and said aslong as filing is done with the receipt , it will not matter with approvals. Also learn that if the cases are clean , under this overwhelmed volumes , there are also good chances for quick approvals on clean cases. So no wonder certain cases in bulks are getting approved. Just wanted to share this with the community .
Any one who filed in first week of DEC at TSC got FP notice ? My notice date is DEC 9th but haven't received any notice for FP yet.
guys gals and gurus...wots happening... no news about people getting EAD's or GC's?? yeh kya ho raha hein bhai log... bring some enthu to the forum folks... bring some good news!!!!!
Hi Soggadu - I would like to update but nothing yet for me :). Its very dissapointing to keep checking my SMS / mail every 30 min. My guess we should expect EAD /AP approval only Next year due to Holiday season. what do you think?.
Between - Any NSC in our forum who is waiting for EAD/AP
And also I would to add that getting an RFE is not necessarily a bad thing, they tell you exactly specifically what they want, the same letter can ask for multiple things, and that basically are the only things stopping you from an approval, and as soon as you get back to them, within a matter of days at times, depending on the period that is current and visa number availability, such cases are approved. A file which gets response to an RFE is taken back to the top of the pile by the officer. The RFE response is directly sent to the service center, and once its scanned in (you put the RFE letter on top of response), it gets back into the file with the officer. This is as per my attorney.
