My Advise - Don't lose hope, take calculated risks. EB category is the safest , USCIS will give you the benefit as we are the least risk category .

Thank you for your kind words. I am no expert, just that faced immigration officials across different airports multiple times on EAD/AP and answered a lot of questions to them through the secondary screening.

Thank you Q. Both you, Spec, Kanmani and few others (Aceman, Idliman... So many others) have been my pillar of strength all those years. Hoping to have all those that files back in 2010/12 to get as soon as possible. My immediate reaction after seeing the status update was of 'Profound Silence". Not sure how to put it though. it was not relief or happiness, but just silence.

Just to add it, purely based on Spec's predictions back in 2012 (late 2011 and early 2012) I made career choices so that I can get EAD/AP. I still remember Spec is the only one that predicted date movement at that time.

I'm mortified to hear that you used any predictions I made for your life decisions.

I can hardly remember 2011/2012 now - certainly not what I may have said back then. They seem different times.

Thank you Spec. Indeed I used your predictions to switch around jobs since I wanted to file 485 before it retrogresses again back in 2012. (literally did a U turn to go back to primary company since dates were going to be current and new labor was nowhere close to getting approved). All is well that ends well.

Thanks for the kind words. It's a shame that USCIS have decided to deny us access to the level of information we had way back then.
Even I used to doubt what the underlying data said, because we had some years where quite unexpected things would happen and progress would be more rapid (remember Kazarian??).

Finally Spec- what can I say about your number crunching abilities and way you present them. I was initially not happy to read your predictions (you know that :) ) but quickly realized the practical perspective it brought in. It helped a lot to take my mind off of this GC mirage and focus on career. I wish you only the best in whatever you do.

This forum was a great medium to come to terms with immigration challenges in a supportive & collaborative environment. Q, appreciate you creating this environment that promotes this synergy.
