We received our FP Notices today.
SC : TSC
ASC : Elizabeth, NJ
FP for myself : 3/29 2pm.
FP for spouse: 3/15 1pm.
I have couple of questions:
1. Can we both get FP done on same day (3/15) ?
2. Do they allow entry at 8am instead of 1pm ?
Thanks.

guys if anybody knows....
Need a travel companion for MomInlaw from HYD to new jersey during march... please let me know if you know of anyone...
Got the physical card. Feels surreal. it is a strange feeling that the journey is really over. There is a term for that I am forgetting. It is the feeling that you get when you wait a long time and finally get it. Enough drama already :)
Is it really true that the only thing you need is passport and the card to enter and exit?
Teddy and Leo, what new? Did you guys hear anything?
Thanks vizcard! I am planning a trip to the Bahamas and was not sure whether the green card and passport should be good enough to re-enter US.
Friends,
Y'all preparing for finger printing, make sure you/spouse avoid knife cut wounds in the fingers .
I read it a month ago somewhere that they allowed somebody from Canada to enter USA w/o physical passport. This guy had it on his iPad and the officer at POE took his iPad; did some verification; accepted it and allowed him in. I wish they do it for everybody..that would be so cool!!!
Just venting a little bit about the relative slowness of NSC compared to TSC for Jan and Feb filers. Many Feb TSC filers have received FP notices and a couple have even received EAD/AP. NSC on the other hand has really slowed down - no FP notices for Feb filers and EAD/AP for Jan filers are also getting delayed.
I am eagerly awaiting EAD/AP for a job change situation - and it seems like I still have a few weeks of wait.
Opened thread.
imdeng - I can empathize with you. I am an NSC Feb flier with the same RD as you. The LUD on my case is 2/14 as well. Nothing since then... The google doc that the trackitt folks are maintaining for Feb filers shows a 1:3 ratio for NSC vs TSC filers. But still TSC appears to be processing the cases much faster than NSC (at least w.r.t FPs and EAD/APs). Not sure what the hold-up is at NSC :(
Another January filer approval on trackitt. This time with the dependent too.

Finally got the EAD and AP approval mails today!!! Exact 2 months after the RD.
Huge step for my wife as now she can now put her Dental Degree from India to some use and apply to the "Select Dental Schools" which only take Permanent Residents/future Permanent Residents with atleast EAD approved into their International Dentist Programs.
For me now the start of wait for next 4 months so I can change jobs on the 181st day of RD. :)
Also can now plan the long awaited India trip. Have been postponing it for past 4.5 years for some reason or not. The "kal parsoin mein beetr barsion" line from the "ghar aaja pardesi" song of DDLJ applies so well to us.
Thx everyone for all the guidance and help. The best forum ever!!
Congratulations! It is criminal that such well educated folks as your wife can not work because of stupid immigrations rules. It is in the interest of US economy that all legal residents take up the very best economic activities they can pursue to contribute to the economy and pay taxes.
No big physical changes ... mentally more peaceful ... not picking fights with wife anymore to divert my mind from immigration matters... hang in there buddy, you will see the light soon... also add your case as signature so that others can better respond when you have a question...
