I'm not sure that is true.
At the end of Q3, USCIS reported that the relative split of EB pending cases at NSC:TSC was 43:57.
NSC started fast then fizzled out quickly, while TSC started later and has continued.
During July to date Trackitt reports the relative approvals for EB2-I as 38:62 in favour of TSC.
In rough terms, the approvals have been in relation to the % of cases at the respective SC and any cases left pending would be in the same proportions - no SC would give a particular advantage.
I am happy to inform you all that finally my GC journey has come to an end today.

Sportsfan, I sincerely hope you will get your GC soon. Good luck buddy!!!
gc2008,
Congrats.
sports,
The figures show a sharp tailing off of approvals after the announcement on September 10, 2014. This seems to be consistent with the approvals coming from FY2014.
Unfortunately, I can't (at least at this time) agree with your thoughts about the end of October, though I would like to. There seem to be just too many cases remaining (excluding new applications) to clear them all with the visa numbers likely to be available in October.
Congrats Sportsfan!!!
Best way to start week with :)
Sports - I can not tell you how happy I am for you. You have been around as long as I have (maybe longer) - I have personally witnessed your trials and tribulations - and I dare say you have been a witness to mine. I remember the stretch when you were not around for some time, then restarted your account, the 2012 euphoria and so on. You have been one of the most enthusiastic posters around - always ready to help other posters. USCIS has really given you a run around - but as the say - all is well that ends well.
So Congratulations my friend. Best wishes for a successful green life forward for you and your family. I hope you will stick around - and if you are around in Chicago-Milwaukee area then ping me and we will share Q-blog stories over a beer :-).
Congrats Sportsfan33.
Sports,
Congratulations! It feels like we just heard the good news! Sorry to join your party late, late is the latest Tamil Nadu style!
Enjoy man!
I have also finally received the GC in hand. Mine was approved on 29th Aug (Lord Ganesha's blessing?), then it took some time to receive it in post. Mine is EB2-India, priority date 2-July-2008, TSC, RFE received on 2-Jun-2014. Was waiting for a long time, getting frustrated, and finally got it. In between I had opened SR, and also contacted the local senator. Both cases the answer was pretty routine - it is in process, and will inform you in 30-60 days. The other uncommon(?) thing that I had done some years back was I had applied for and received the Canadian GC as a sort of backup in case this US GC does not work out. But that Canadian GC expired while I was still waiting for US GC, so in reality it never became a proper backup. I did not go to Canada.
Thanks to so many folks here - Q, Spec, Kanmani, Sportsfan33, Viz, TeddyKoochu and many others. Your observations and comments made sense in this long and mad journey and gave us hope. Thanks once again.
Your approval as well as the ones coming now have to be coming from visa numbers requested before internal retrogression or from 2014 spillover. They surely cannot borrow numbers from 2015 when there are a few days left. The more that are requested from 2014 the better :)
congrats!
This forum has just been phenomenal!!! I've no idea what i'd have done if it wasn't for this Forum and the terrific support of the brilliant people participating!!! You guys helped me stay calm through the rough times and the constant unknown!!! Thanks again, and good luck to all who are waiting!!
Got CPO email and texts today for both my wife and myself.
PD: 06/2008
RD: 02/2012
RFE: 09/22/2014
RFE Replied: 09/26/2014
CPO: 09/30/2014
When it happens, it happens fast :)
Congrats GCHopes.
Yes, USCIS messed in my RFE in the sense that it was issued back on May 27 2014 but they never mailed it to me or my attorney. They mailed it on Sep 17th with another letter attached to it saying "expiration extended till Oct 22".
I will give it to my Congresswoman and her staff. They kept bugging their USCIS liaison to get status update on my and my wife's case. They called USCIS multiple times to check if RFE was mailed, then to check if reply received was what they were expecting and finally they called USCIS yesterday to check if a decision can be made to our case.
My own attorney was not taking Congreewoman and liaison seriously till they actually got the RFE mailed. She was simply saying, it is their job to treat you well but they will keep giving you standard replies. One of the nicest things in Democracy, legislature has enough power to make executive branches work if they want to.
My 6yr 2mos & 1week journey to GC freedom ended @ 1pm EST today. I was a first time filer (jul 2008) this july. I was happy last fri when our EADs got approved because I thought we only had a outside chance for our cases to get approved before oct 31st but never expected it to happen within 13hours of the dawn of the new fiscal yr.
I loved this forum for the analysis that the guru's based on cold hard - and sometimes implied - facts. This forum has been my beacon of hope for the last few years since I'm across it on a google search (thanks google).
I hope to remain on this forum and hopefully help others in my own small ways.
Congrats IsItWorthTheTrouble
I would like to thank the guru's on these forum for their tireless work on number crunching to come up with predictions that gave hope to countless folks like me. Our saga came to end this last wednesday when our GC was approved. We were first time filers with a july end 2008 PD. Thanks again for bringing sanity to the countless of EB2-I folks struck in limbo.
IsItWorthTheTrouble,
Congratulations!
