Priority Date using ETA Case # (Labor Receipt #)

Hi All,

Please help me here. I've my I-140 approved through my previous employer and he is not willing to share any labor or I-140 informations. All i have is ETA Case # (for Labor) and I-140 LIN #. i researched in FLCDataCenter.com and found my case in the 2008 mdb file, but to my worst luck i was able to find only my case is approved on x/x/2008 but not the Priority Date. Looks like the mdb files in that link stopped publishing from 2007 a column (RECEIVED_DATE) which is the priority date. So, as of now i know only that my labor is approved on x/x/2008 but dont know the Priority Date. Can you guys please help me here on how to find my Priority date.

Since your employer is not willing to share the information, the only full-proof method is to obtain it via FOIA, which I think is in progress judging by other posts I have seen.

There is a method that will give you an idea, but it is subject to error and cannot be relied upon.

The PERM case number contains the date the electronic application was begun in the Julian Date Format.

For a case number of A-07306-91987 the date part is 07306.

That means the 306th day of CY2007. In this case, that is November 02, 2007.

The problem is that if the attorney started the online PERM process before actually submitting it, the case number will reflect that date, not the submission date. Since PD is the submission date, this would give an earlier date than the actual PD.
