There is a good likelihood that my PD will be current in the next few months. I had to travel out of US due to a family emergency. My EAD/AP has not been approved yet. I have an approved H1B. But, need to wait for consulates to open, for stamping. Do I run any risk, being out of the US when my PD becomes current? What options do I have, to protect the AOS process from any adverse impact?
