EB2 vs EB3

Priority Date - Aug-2010
I-140 - approved from previous firm.
Starting Perm + I-140 rodeo again coz of job switch
Category - EB-2 throughout; never filed EB-3


I have changed jobs few times and always got my I-140 approved under EB-2 category. With recent move, our good ol Fragomen says your role is fit for EB-3 even thou with work ex you are EB-2 candidate. They are proceeding with EB-3 and not EB-2.

While my HR dept is figuring things out just want to check what the collective wisdom of this board will suggest in terms of filing as EB-3 or EB-2.

Which category has better chance of reaching late Aug-2010 sooner so I can get EAD and AP.
