H4 valid and EAD expiring / legal status

Hi ,

I have EAD valid till 02/2015. I have recently applied for renewal also. But with current processing time, I may not get approval in time. I also have H4 Visa stamp valid till 2016 and have last entered USA using H4. I recently started business on EAD. I have below question related to this ,

1. If I do not get EAD renewal before EAD end date, What will be my legal status?

2.After my current EAD end date and if renewal application is still pending , I will have to stop my business tasks till renewal is approved and start after renewal. Am I correct?

H4 since your entered using H4.

You can do business in US on any visa. However to draw salary from your own business you need to have EAD or GC or self sponsored H1. If your EAD expires then you can not draw salary - but you can draw profits.
